Your list stays your list.
When you bring contacts — donors, customers, event attendees — into Hubhearts or one of our partner toolboxes like Social Sparks, those contacts remain yours. Here is exactly what that means in plain English.
1. Ownership
Contacts you upload (CSV lists, donor exports, event RSVPs) are stored as your client list. They are tagged to your account. No other Hubhearts client, vendor, affiliate, or partner can see, query, export, or market to them.
2. Who can email your list
- You and any team members you invite.
- Hubhearts directly, only for operational messages tied to your campaign (deliverability reports, scheduled sends you authorized, summary analytics).
- Hubhearts platform announcements only if a contact explicitly opts in.
Other Hubhearts clients, partner vendors, affiliates, or storefronts on hubhearts.com cannot reach your contacts. Ever. Even if they pay.
3. Email masking & public profiles
Public profiles and community pages on hubhearts.com never expose raw email addresses. 1-on-1 networking between members uses relay addresses until both sides accept the connection. Your contact list is never published, searchable, or surfaced in directories.
4. Analytics we do use
We use aggregated, anonymized data to improve the platform: open-rate percentages, geographic regions, device types, click-through totals. We never use row-level contact data, names, or addresses for cross-client insights.
5. Sharing — only with your approval
If you decide to share a segment with a specific partner (for example, a co-hosted event with another ministry or vendor), you turn that on per-segment, per-partner. Default is off. The receiving partner sees the source and the date you approved it.
6. Export & delete, any time
You can export your full list as a CSV any time from your dashboard. You can delete the list — and we will purge backups within 30 days. No exit fees, no friction.
7. What we will never do
- Sell your contact data.
- Rent, trade, or "look-alike" your contact data to advertisers.
- Let another Hubhearts client market to your contacts.
- Use your donor list to fundraise for anyone but you.
8. Special note on donor lists (501(c)(3) clients)
Donor lists are held to a higher bar. They are accessible only to the master admin you designate, are never used in aggregated analytics that could identify giving patterns, and are deleted on request within 7 days. Roaring Lambs Ministries' donor list is held under this standard.
